Amiruddin Bin Mohd Zain

Executive Chairman

Amiruddin is the Executive Chairman of ELSA and provides leadership advisory and strategic guidance in supporting the Group’s growth and long-term business direction.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia and brings over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in 1988 with GeoEast Sdn Bhd, where he was involved in mudlogging operations and wellsite geology services. He later joined PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) in 1992 and built an extensive career within the organisation across exploration, production, operations, and strategic management functions.

 

Throughout his tenure at PCSB, he held various leadership roles involving exploration activities, wellsite geology operations, production sharing contract (PSC) management, deepwater exploration projects, and cross-border operational coordination. He also played a role in managing engagements with government and regulatory authorities in Malaysia and Thailand. His final position before retirement in 2017 was General Manager.

 

He joined ELSA in 2018 as Chief Executive Officer and was subsequently redesignated as Executive Chairman in 2024.

 

Drawing from decades of industry and leadership experience, Amiruddin continues to support ELSA’s strategic expansion and operational development across the energy and technology sectors.

Daniel Ilham Khong

Managing Director

Daniel Ilham Khong is the Founder and Managing Director of ELSA, with over 35 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.

 

Throughout his career, he has held technical and leadership roles with internationally recognised oilfield service companies including Schlumberger (SLB), Halliburton, Welltec, and Roxar, before serving as Chief Operating Officer of a Malaysian public-listed company.

 

In 2015, he founded ELSA with a vision to build a technology-driven solutions company focused on innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Under his leadership, ELSA has grown into one of Malaysia’s leading integrated Energy and Digital Technology solutions providers.

Dr. Nurul Syakinah Binti Abdul Rafar

Non-Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Nurul Syakinah is a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of ELSA and one of the company’s Promoters and substantial shareholders.

 

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Trisakti, Indonesia, and began her career as a Dental Officer with the Ministry of Health Malaysia before transitioning into private healthcare.

 

In 2018, she established Sparkle Dental Sdn Bhd and successfully expanded the business with multiple dental clinics under her leadership.

 

She first joined ELSA in 2016 as a Non-Executive Director and continues to support the Group in matters relating to corporate governance and long-term business development.

Mohd Shahriman Bin Mohd Sidek

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mohd Shahriman Bin Mohd Sidek is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ELSA with over 35 years of experience spanning architecture, digital technology, telecommunications, business development, and strategic advisory.

 

He holds qualifications in Architecture and Urban Design from Institut Teknologi Mara, Malaysia and Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.

 

Throughout his career, he has held leadership and advisory roles across various organisations in Malaysia and internationally, including within digital infrastructure, telecommunications, technology development, and innovation ecosystems.

 

He has also served in advisory and industry development roles involving government engagement, digital transformation initiatives, and data governance, including his appointment as advisor to the Malaysian Digital Minister in relation to data governance.

Dr. Azuraida Binti Shahadan

Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Azuraida Binti Shahadan is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ELSA with extensive experience in education, leadership development, training, and strategic consultancy.

 

She holds a Doctor of Education (Educational Leadership) from California State University, Fullerton, as well as academic qualifications from the University of Malaya and the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Her professional background spans academia, leadership training, educational consultancy, and organisational development. She has held teaching and advisory roles with various academic institutions and organisations in Malaysia.

 

She is also the founder of DRAZU Training Academy & Consultancy, focusing on mental health, personal development, leadership, and professional growth programmes, while actively contributing to various community and social impact initiatives.

Aliza Binti Ashari

Independent Non-Executive Director

Aliza Binti Ashari is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ELSA with over 30 years of experience in finance, corporate governance, and strategic management across the automotive, technology, and oil and gas industries.

 

She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Chartered Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

 

Throughout her career, she has held senior finance and leadership positions within several major organisations, including the Sapura Group, where she was involved in financial management, corporate governance, risk management, procurement, and strategic business operations across regional and international markets.

 

Her extensive financial and corporate leadership experience contributes strong governance and strategic oversight to ELSA’s Board.

Maliki Kamal Bin Mohd Yasin

Independent Non-Executive Director

Maliki Kamal Bin Mohd Yasin is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ELSA with more than 30 years of experience in legal, corporate governance, and strategic advisory within the energy industry.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University Malaysia and completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

 

He spent 31 years with PETRONAS, where he held various senior leadership positions across legal, corporate secretarial, commercial, finance, and strategic functions before being appointed Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel in 2017.

 

His extensive experience in governance, risk management, and corporate leadership provides valuable guidance in supporting ELSA’s long-term growth and governance objectives.
